Zafarrancho Ecoaventuras

With Zafarrancho you have multiple ways of relating to the environment of the Natural Park that houses the Tejada mountain ranges as well as those of Alhama and Almijara. In our facilities there are both the El Hornillo Nature Classroom and large spaces for adventure sports that are enabled to meet the needs of all types of groups such as:

- Educational centers : with a proposal that has been designed for their students consisting of a visit to the school farm that we have complemented with workshops to learn about the day-to-day in this type of facilities.

The Indian Natura proposal is also directed to them with a duration of 3 to 5 days in which the children will have a special end of the course with horse riding, active sports modalities and games.

- Individuals with the summer camp : prepared for children of a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 13 who will live with us on the farm after the end of the school year.

- Friends and family : who can come for an excursion with accommodation for several days on the farm itself or to celebrate an event for which additional services such as catering can be requested.

In Zafarrancho we organize our multi-adventure camp in the Sierra de Tejada so that children from 7 years old to 13 maintain close contact with the activities that can be developed in nature.

We will be in the Finca el Hornillo complex that functions as a nature classroom, so it will provide us with the necessary coverage for participation in interesting workshops that will introduce us to the natural environment. In its 12 hectares, the registrants will be permanently controlled and will be able to practice sports without the need to travel extensively.

In the area that the camp occupies, we will take advantage of its gardens, the forests that flank it and its completely new main building. It has more than 350 m2 with the amenities that characterize our century such as internet connection.

Some of the activities that we will try together will be horse riding, kayaking and sailing in the nearby reservoir of Bermejales in initiation levels and the circuits in height for which instructors and monitors will always accompany us.

In Zafarrancho we have specific proposals to receive the visit of school groups to the school farm that we have in the Sierra de Tejada. They are suitable for primary school courses with no age limit and the aim is for students to spend the whole day learning about animals and nature.

To make possible the objectives set by the center, in addition to showing the farm's facilities, we go further by offering workshops on various topics, resulting in a program like this:

- Tour of the school farm : in which we will learn about the species that live with us. We will go to the corral to see the chickens, we will visit the rabbits and the geese and we will spend time with the ponies.

- Activities in the ecological garden : we will teach the tasks that the crops require, we will collect those that are ready for consumption and we will test them.

- Cooking workshop : for the afternoon snack we will become chefs participating in the elaboration of homemade products following their traditional recipes.

- Multiadventure : we will take advantage of the visit to make the kids enjoy our play areas with archery and a circuit among the trees.
