Description of 4x4 route Archeology Baelo Claudia
Tarifa, in addition to magnificent beaches, hides historical treasures that date back to the 1st century BC. It was then, 1500 years ago, when the Roman civilization occupied these lands.
Although we cannot look out of a window into that politically complex and architecturally beautiful world, there are enough loopholes in the current Tarifa to know how life went.
We will leave at 10 am, in 4x4 cars, in search of the cities of Carteia and Baelo Claudia. We will stop at its sites that still retain these names and join the one known as the Pope's Chair. There we will be explained the keys to how its inhabitants developed.
We will be between Sierra de la Plata, Cueva del Moro and Ranchiles, also coinciding with the Ensenada de Bolonia. We will also take care of meal time for all participants.
