Description of 4-hour 4x4 route through the interior of the Algarve

A whole 4x4 adventure is waiting for you in Albufeira to depart to the most special places in the interior of the Algarve region, where you will discover the most magical rural areas of the district from Faro.

For 4 hours that will fly by, we will visit traditional villages, natural landscapes, cross all types of terrain or even have the opportunity to taste a typical drink from the area.

We leave from Albufeira, where we head inland, having as our first stop the town of Padernes, which we will travel through in our SUV, reaching the imposing castle that guards it, taking a short tour through history.

We will cross different landscapes until we reachPico Alto, where the 4x4 will take us to conquer its summit, from where we will be able to see the entire Algarve region in all its splendor.

After the ascent we will head to Quinta do Freixo, passing through traditional villages such as Alte, where we will stop to enjoy its natural pools and the imposing Queda do Vigario waterfall. Once we arrive at the Quinta,we will taste a liquor made in the area, in addition to learning everything about its production.
