Canoe Safety and Self-Rescue Course 3 hours

In adventure sports the most essential thing is safety. You are always looking for risk but you must be aware that beyond the adrenaline and speed, there may be a real danger that must be faced. So that you know what to do at all times, we give you the opportunity to learn Safety and Self-Rescue techniques in canoe sports.

With our 3 hour classes, you will learn the different advanced safety maneuvers in river waters. Our instructors will teach you the theoretical notions about active and passive safety, so that you can prevent any type of accident thanks to the protection tools or you can solve any problem during navigation. If you have to carry out a tow, you will also learn how to use the pulley system and what are the protocols to follow in case of an accident. You will be able to perform first aid until the emergency services arrive knowing that what you do directly influences the health of the injured person.

Once you have obtained the first knowledge, we will proceed to the live practices. With figurative situations that represent real rescue situations, our instructors will instruct you in each step so that you can do it independently. This way, if you ever have to face an accident you will know what to do faithfully.
