Descent of the Palancón ravine in Bayarcal 3h

In Sierra Nevada we find the Canyon of Palancón, in Bayarcal, a delight to enjoy a descent that is valid even for people without experience in Canyoning..

To get to this place, from Almeria, we will need approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Afterwards, we can enjoy the approximately 3 hours that we need to carry out the descent.

Due to its location in the middle of the mountains, it is a canyon that carries water throughout the year. It is a joy to walk through its rocks enjoying the vegetation of the area.

In the Canyon of Palancón there are several jumps to the water, we will go down slides letting the water drag us , four descents with rappels at the waterfalls and more surprises.

Then we will ascend through a path surrounded by holm oaks and we will get to the place where we left the cars at the beginning of the activity.

For canyoning you must be over 16 years old, know how to swim and not be afraid of heights.

The meeting place is the Repsol gas station of Benhadux. From there we will go to the canyon, each one on his own car.

You must come with your bathing suit on, sunscreen,closed-toe shoes, a change of clothes and water or isotonic drink. We also recommend fingerless gloves for a better grip.
