Canyoning in Las Buitreras Canyon level 2

The canyon descent is a quite amusing adventure sport and that combines different disciplines in one, such as the jumps, the abseil, the trekking or the climbing (but in reverse).

We have different tours in Cadiz, but one of the most spectacular is the Canyon Las Buitreras, down the Guadiero river. It is an impressive canyon through which water falls all year round. Along the tour, you can do three abseils, as well as different jumps.

The tour consists of a natural gorge that gradually narrows, which finally becomes a cave completely dark. There are sections in which it is necessary to swim, the last one being one of the longest sections of 200 meters that ends up leading to the beach.

This is a medium level canyon. It is recommended that the participants have some previous experience in other canyons and a good physical condition since it is a more demanding tour than others.

We will provide all the individual and collective equipment. We recommend that you bring comfortable sports footwear with an anti-slip sole. Keep in mind that the footwear you choose should be able to get wet since the canyoning is carried out inside the river.
