Description of Portilla ravine descent, initiation
The Portilla Canyon is perfect to become initiated into canyon descending. It is located in Serranía de Cuenca, just 200 km away from Madrid, so you can come to practice the activity on the same day.
We'll meet at 11.00h in Villalba de la Sierra. We'll reach to the canyon in about 30 minutes. It will offer us exciting waterslides, water faults and several rappels up to 12 metres.
The comeback is really quick (It'll take us about 5 minutes to complete it).
The vertical drop is 95 metres high. The canyon heights about 1 kilometre.
We'll also carry a waterproof drum, so you can save your personal items without getting them wet.
*It is indispensable to be at least a 5 people group. If we don't reach that minimum the activity would be postponed.
