Description of Portilla ravine descent, initiation
The Portilla ravine is perfect for getting started in canyon descending. It is located in the Serranía de Cuenca, just 200 km from Madrid, so you can come on the same day to do the activity.
We will meet at 11:00 in Villalba de la Sierra. In about 30 minutes we will reach the beginning of the ravine. This canyon will offer us exciting slides, jumps into the water and several rappels, which reach 12 meters.
The return is very fast (in about 5 minutes we will have completed it).
The slope up and down is 95 meters. The ravine measures 1 kilometer approximately.
We will bring a watertight container so that you can store personal items without the risk of them getting wet.
*A minimum group of at least 5 people is essential. If we do not achieve that minimum, we would postpone the activity.
