Rafting can be carried out between the months of March and September, during adventure days that can last half or, if you wish, a full day.
We make several raft descents : from the Albendea joints to the San Pedro de Palmiches picnic area on the Guadiela river, and along the course of the Tagus river almost at its birth through the Alto Tajo Natural Park a the height of Zaorejas.
We will cross the whitewater of these rivers for 3 or 4 hours that will pass you like 10 minutes since we will not stop going from side to side and to overcome obstacles.
The raft has a capacity of about 10 people, 4 being the minimum number of occupants to make the descents that will be directed by the monitor.
Rafting is nothing complicated to do, from 11 years of age it is possible to undertake the descents.
The material needed to enjoy the practice of rafting consists of:
Footwear that can get wet
Waterproof boat from us
If necessary, neoprene is also provided.

There is nothing prettier than teamwork. If, in addition, this teamwork is to descend in a pneumatic boat the Cabriel River, considered one of the cleanest in the world, the experience is amazing. It is now possible to live it thanks to Altair Rafting, located in the town of Enguidanos, in the province of Cuenca.
The descent passes through a very fun and safe area of rapids. All groups lead to a monitor that acts as a guide for the boat. It is he who is giving the orders to the group to row in either direction or saying which side he has to row. The boats are 8 people plus the guide.
The landscape of the Cabriel River is incomparable. Its waters are very clear and the riverbanks are full of typical vegetation of the area. The activity cannot always be done, since it depends on the flow of the river. Therefore, it is advisable to check its availability.

Quintanar Del Rey (Cuenca)
In Centro Aventura we will take you rafting in the Hoces del Río Cabriel from our Cuenca facilities in Quintanar del Rey. Its channel gives us the opportunity to offer a descent suitable for everyone, even for families with children!
It is an adventure that lasts half a day. To take advantage of the time, we will start it at 9.30h in the morning by setting a place to meet to set course for our base and prepare with the material. We lend you the most complete equipment in which, in addition to neoprene, you will find a jacket of this same material, booties for the feet and a thermal shirt so you do not notice the temperature of the river. You must also keep the helmet that we left during the entire descent.
You will get on inflatable boats with a maximum of 9 seats and a minimum of 7. In all of them, one of our instructors goes up. You want to take a break. In case you do not have a group or want to go alone in pairs we will recommend a raft canoe that will also allow you to feel the whitewater up close.
Keep in mind that these raft descents in Cabriel are made throughout the year so it is always a good time to try it. (White Water Rafting Cuenca)
