Our canyoning route through the Peonera canyon will begin by crossing the strait of Los Fornazos. This step will lead us to an idyllic place, which will immediately confirm that you made the right decision booking this descent of this ravine, since it will seem that we have crossed a kind of portal that has taken us from the Sierra de Guara, to the most unlikely fantasy tale of all, as we will know the Tamara Fountain. This secluded enclave is one of the most beautiful natural pools that we will probably ever contemplate, a true natural Eden of translucent waters and turquoise tones secluded and where silence reigns.

We will cross winding paths with colossal walls of gleaming white, which will lead us to the straits of El Puntillo. A small section of the Alcanadre river awaits us here, which enjoys the same kind of waters as those of the Tamara Fountain and which is embraced by long ledges from which jump to dive into these dreamy waters.

But undoubtedly the best of Barranco de la Peonera is at the end. Here awaits us an environment that seems to be taken from the Amazon river itself, the emblematic Salto de Bierge fall. A solitary fountain created by nature, which is the jewel of this canyoning route.
