Canyoning in the Foz de Fago in the Aragonese Pyrenees

The Phago Foz, in the lands of Huesca, is the ideal ravine if you have already descended ravines before and now you want to try something new that will speed up your pulse like the first time. This descent down the Fago ravine of 2 hours that we have planned will give you everything you need and will give you the opportunity to try new canyoning adventures in a dreamy natural environment.

The adventure that awaits us here is abundant, but in addition to the fun we have to highlight the flora and fauna that we will find and that draw a beautiful landscape as we pass. In fact, this ravine is part of the Network of Protected Areas of Aragón as it has endless animal diversity and has one of the most extensive colonies of griffon vultures in the entire Pyrenees.

But going back to what we like the most, the possibilities of this ravine are endless and just starting, it will put our audacity and skills to the test, because at the beginning we will start the ravine with several jumps.

Then, we will continue advancing through the gorges until we reach a drop of 13 meters that we will have to overcome with a rappel descent that will leave us in the heart of the canyon. We will continue advancing until we come across a 5 meter siphon, which we can overcome with a little climb.

We like nothing more than to finish a canyoning route than with a rappel descent, and luckily, it is just what the Barranco de la Foz de Fago offers us, which is ideal to culminate our inexhaustible day of adventure.
