Canyoning Buitreras Canyon, 7 hours

The Buitreras Canyon is one of the best places to go canyoning, due to its spectacular landscapes, with waterfalls, pools, and very unique rocks. It is located in Cortes de la Frontera, in Malaga, and owes its name to the presence of a colony of griffon vultures.

Other animals such as otters, pigeons or blackbirds live in the area. Abundant vegetation such as holm oaks, junipers and especially palmettos grow thanks to the course of the Guadiaro River. Water erosion has formed a limestone rock with original shapes and passages.

All of this gives rise to an incredible landscape, declared a natural monument, which you can see in this activity that we will carry out in the month of July with the corresponding necessary permits. We will descend the canyon for 7 hours, guided by aprofessional instructor who will ensure that we advance safely.

It is a vertical aquatic route that has pools, rappels, and jumps of up to 12 meters. You will be equipped with the necessary material (neoprene, harness, helmet...), but you must bring comfortable footwear that prevents slipping, suitable for crossing wet areas.
