Canyoning in the Buitreras Canyon 5 hours

In the province of Malaga is one of the most impressive gorges in Andalusia. It is the Cañón de las Buitreras, a ravine in the middle of El Colmenar and the Cortes de la Frontera Station, that the Guadiaro river has been designing along the way of its rivercourse.

In this extremely beautiful setting, we suggest a canyoning activity to enjoy the spectacle of nature up close. Over approximately 5 hours, we will progress through its relief guided by professional monitors.

The activity is aimed at people who already have an  intermediate level in this sport. And it is that we will enter its narrow crack surrounded by walls that rise to 150 meters high. That is why it is convenient that before you do some other simpler ravine in a preparatory way.

The adventure will begin in the town of Cortes de la Frontera,  from where we will depart for the " Puente de los Alemanes", a construction of more than 150 years, which has about 70 meters high.

The best dates to do this exercise are those between the months of June and August, when the flood seasons of the river have already passed.
