Sierra Nevada Ice Climbing Baptism

For those who are crazy about climbing, there is no day of the year that a wall cannot be climbed. There is no season of the year that prevents them from going out to enjoy the sport they are most passionate about. For those climbers with experience this ice climbing baptism is designed. We are waiting for you in Sierra Nevada!

What we propose is a day in the areas where waterfalls and walls are frozen. We will take advantage of these weather conditions to practice the ice progress techniques , know how to place screws, the use of traction ice axes and hold meetings with abalakov.

A climbing instructor will indicate the movements to be performed at all times and will explain the specific characteristics of ice climbing. In addition, in the starting area we will equip you with ice axes, helmet, harness and crampons. Also with material for the group: rope, ice screws, carabiners and quickdraws.

Who can participate? All those who have completed the Initiation to Sport Climbing and Winter Mountaineering. And, as material to bring for you: waterproof clothing, thermal shirt, mountain boots, anchor line and descender with safety carabiner.

On the other hand, when spending a full day, you must come with water and food to spend the day.
