Dry Suit Diving Course

Surely, you have been cold more than once during diving. The best solution is not putting on hundreds of layers of neoprene, but to learn how to use a dry suit.

We teach you the technique that will give you optimum comfort, as it largely reduces the sensation of dampness in quite cold waters. 

More specifically, the course content is:

• ways to control buoyancy wearing a dry suit
• how to maintain a dry suit, its storage and basic repairs
• recommendations on the underwear, so that it would also have an insulating effect

This is a half theory, half practical course:

• We conduct the theory classes in Las Rozas,
• as well as the pool training where we simulate accidents, always supervised by an instructor who will help to resolve the exercises.
• Also, we will visit a reservoir, Pantano de Bolarque, very close to the capital. This reservoir is perfect for this kind of training, because it has an ideal depth and its waters are cold.

It is very important not to neglect the maintenance of the dry suit, because it requires a special care in order to stay in perfect condition for the season or for its next use.

To attend the course a diving certification (Open Water Diver as a minimum) and a medical certificate is required.
