PADI Open Water Diver Diving Course Madrid and Calpe

Get your PADI Open Water Diver certification in Madrid now!This is the quintessential introductory diving course, with which you can dive to a depth of up to 18 meters, no matter where on the planet you are. This diving certification will also allow you to rent diving equipment, dive without an instructor (always accompanied by a partner) and access specialty and higher level courses.

In our diving school you will find a team of professionals who have been diving for two decades, who work in small groups for the best possible care and learning, and who offer you the flexibility you need. For this reason, our groups always have a maximum of 4 students per teacher.

This diving course can be taken by both those who have already tried diving and those who have never tried diving before. Our diving instructors will adapt to the level and needs of each student, with a gentle and progressive teaching method.

In order to take the PADI Open Water Diver, you will have to meet the following requirements:

• Be over 12 years old. If you are under 18, bring parent/guardian authorization.
• It may seem obvious, but you must know how to swim and feel comfortable in the water.
• Fill out a pre-course health questionnaire or bring an official hyperbaric medical certificate stating that you are "suitable for scuba diving."
• Bring a passport photo.

The course will be divided into two parts, one theoretical and the other practical:

• You will be able to carry outthe theory at your own pace and online, learning about the aquatic environment, diving equipment, procedures and safety protocols.
• For its part, the practice will be divided into confined water dives with 2 sessions of pool dives in Madrid (8 hours in total), spread over two days; and in sea dives, which will take place in the Alicante town of Calpe (4 dives during a weekend).
