Would you ike to get to know the history of the city of Avilés? This guided route will enable you to visit different areas of the city, which is divided into periods of time.
These zones are composed of the time periods: medieval, baroque and contemporary. A professional guide will show you all the interesting details of San Francisco, Santo Tomás de Canterbury and San Nicolás de Bari church.
We will walk through Ferrería, Frtua Rivero, Galiana and Valdecarzana palace. We will also take a look at the indian inspired hourses, the Orbon brothers' square. Lastly, the most famous inhabitants of Avilés, such as Carreño de Miranda, Pedro Menéndez de Avilés and Palacio Valdes.
Groups must be composed of a minimum of 4 people.
The route can be done any day of the week at 18:00 pm. You and the guide will arrange to meet at that time in the Muelle's Park. The route will last 2 hours and half, therefore we recommend you to bring your own food and drinks.
