Guided tour of the Pillars of the Earth in Oviedo 2h

Faith, tradition and history converge on the tour we've named The Pillars the Eart, a guided tour in the Cathedral of Oviedo, where you will discover the treasures found both inside and outside the building. What secrets does it hide?

A qualified and accredited guide will organize the group —that must have a minimum of 4 people— and will take you through the itinerary we have prepared while explaining all the details and interesting facts of this monument. We'll be able to answer questions such as: what evidence shows the authenticity of the cloth that covered the face of the Lord? Or, how can be read a Hispano-Flemish altarpiece?

We'll visit the Holy Chamber (declared World Heritage by Unesco), the ashlar, the Gothic cloister, the Saint Sudariod and Jesus and the royal tombs. Also, we'll take a tour around the interior of the old wall of Oviedo —dating from the thirteenth century— and the medieval quarter of the city.

You can come from Monday to Saturday at 12:00 or 16:00. The meeting point will be the entrance of the Cathedral of Oviedo.
