Visit Monte Castillo Caves and Pasiegos Valleys 8h

Do you want to live a full day discovering all the most beautiful hidden spots of the city of Santander and enter the adventure enjoying the nature of the area? Sign up for this 8-hour tour to discover the  Monte Castillo caves and the valleys of the Pasieguiería small region of Cantabria.

The first stop will at one of the caves with the oldest known history, the Castillo and Las Monedas caves, where you can find cave paintings dating back from more than 40,000 years ago. Then, get into the history and culture of the inhabitants of the Puente Viesgo - a town with stone houses, as rocky as a house can get - and get to know the beautiful village of Vega Pas.

In this last town we will make a stop to eat and thus continue the day with recharged batteries to visit the magnificent Ethnographic Museum of the Three Pasiegas Villas. Then, we will continue onwards to the mouth of the Yera River, in Estacas de Trueba.

Already back to the starting point you will discover the beautiful views of Vega de Pas and the Pasiegos Valleys from the Braguía viewpoint.
