The museum is divided into 11 parts. In each of them all the imperial treasures are gathered, and everything you will see during the visit will be pieces from different relatives of the Crown that come from various parts of the world.
To begin the tour, we begin in the room ofGold and diamonds from Brazil, where you can see medals and coins of the Crown along with precious stones and other specimens.
Next, we will continue with an area dedicated to the Honorary Orders which is followed by a space with the Royal Insignia. In the latter you will see the most important and symbolic jewels of the Crown such as the royal crown, the decorations of the Three Military Orders, the two mantles and the scepters.
You will also see different silver objects from the late 18th century, such as Portuguese plates and underplates that were for civil use and part of the Crown Silver. We also have a room dedicated to Diplomatic Gifts.
The penultimate area of the museum is for the Germain Tableware, the only tableware in the entire world that is complete. It was created by François-Thomas Germain in 1755.
