Cares Hiking Route, adult price

Come enjoy one of the most beautiful hiking routes in all of Asturias! We are referring to the Cares route, also known as the Divine Throat of the Cares River.

This route runs through the entire Picos de Europa National Park, between the towns of Caín (León) and Poncebos (Asturias). There are about 11-12 kilometers of walking route in which we will pass through gorges between 1 and 3 meters wide.

It is an activity in which you can enjoy one of the best landscapes in Europe.

It is an easy route with little difference in altitude, a maximum of 300 if you are ascending and about 150 meters of difference in altitude on the descent.

You should bring a backpack, comfortable clothing, water and some food, as we will make stops to rest and replenish energy.

With luck we will be able to see native fauna such as the mountain goats that usually graze in the area.
