Hiking trails in nature in El Barraco

Discover nature with this unique adventure! Come to El Valle del Alberche, in Ávila's forests, and you'll be able to get to know the fauna and flora that inhabits this area of Castile and Leon. You can choose one activity that will make you feel in love with this natural location.

Groups of 8 or more people will be able to different routes depending on your preferences: an environmental workshop, a trekking route, a guided route around the outside or inside of the museum, a guided visit through a botanical path or a mycologic exposition.

There will be a theoretical and a practical part in the workshop where we'll make some crafts and go to the forest, perfect for kids to learn to respect the environment and enjoy nature respectfully.

The trekking activity will take us through signalled routes following a professional guide who will explain to you all the important details of each place: its fauna, flora, geology...

Here, you will also find natural areas of interest, such as the Valle de Iruelas nature reserve, El Burguillo reservoir, and many bird SPA (Special Protected Areas).
