Hiking route in Torcal de Antequera

The route we'll follow has a low-medium difficulty, so it's suitable for everyone who wants to participate, including families.

This natural setting of more than 2,891 acres (1,170 hectares) is located between the municipalities of Villanueva de la Concepción and Antequera. Taking a walk here will make us travel back in time, as we'll spot the limestone formations that show us the eroding that they've been suffering from thousands of years.

Among other titles, this area is been declared as Zona Especial para la Protección de las Aves (Special Area for Bird's Protection), given its great bird biodiversity. During the hike, you'll spot different exemplars of the species that inhabit this natural paradise.

In total, we'll hike 4 kilometres, following a guide who will give us every detail of this area.

The proposed route will be completed in about 3 hours.
