Hiking to Torrecilla Sierra Nieves level 2

Would you like to ascend to the Torrecilla peak in the nature reserve of Sierra de las Nieves on a guided trekking trail? We will take you up this almost 2,000-metres high mountain across level 2 difficulty roads, very close to Ronda.

We will depart from the recreational area Los Quejigales, following a path to the glen of El Cuerno, where we will leave the first 300 meters behind. Then we will pass by Tolox and by Puerto del Saucejo, but not before reaching the "Peñón de los Enamorados" (Rock of the Lovers) , a romantic spot caught in the ascent of the Torrecilla.

Upon reaching Pilones we will be able to spot the summit already, marking the start of our last stretch of the route, which is also the one that will be more physically demanding, but also the most entertaining one, with 400 meters in length. Once at the peak, and if it's a cloudless day, we'll see a different landscape on all sides: Gibraltar and Africa to the south, Sierra Nevada in the east and, in the other way, the mountains of Sierra del Pinar .
