Guided route on the way to Valsendero. 6h 30m

In the road to Valsendero you can discover enchanted forests and the most beautiful landscapes you could ever believe. You will visit an old road bordering Caldera de Tejada. In this route you will be stunned with the beauty of the landscapes. Take some delight watching Roque Nublo and Bentayga as well as the cliffs of Chapín. As a timeline, you will fall in love with the mountains of the western part of the island.

You will arrive to the pinewood area and you will continue to Barranco del Andén, a route which will take you to Valsendero.

Getting close to Montañón Negro you can stay at a short distance from the place of the last eruption in Gran Canaria. From there, you can admire the beauty of the canyon with its unusual vegetation, the water galleries and the caves that will claim your name. And while you are enjoying the lichens that cover the trees you will be entering an enchanted forest like the ones in the fairytales.

During the route, you can recognise some tenants of the forest: some eagles and woodpeckers will be some of them.
