High mountain hiking Laguna de las Yeguas 3 h

If you are looking forward to hiking these high mountain, we offer you the opportunity to do it at 2,700 metres of altitude. We are in Güejar Sierra but we will depart from La hora de la Mora which is the highest area that can be accessed by car.

Along the way we will cross the area of Borreguiles, the Dílar River, Corona, in the lagoon of Las Yeguas and Lagunillos de la Virgen. This means we will go through the surroundings of the ski resort of Sierra Nevada without interfering in the activity of the skiers in case it is in winter.

It is a guided route recommended both in winter to do with snow, and in summer too, with the whole family. Sometimes we will have to shelter ourselves so as not to be very cold since, at such a high altitude, the temperatures are quite low even in summer. Although the level of this route is of a medium difficulty, it is necessary to have had some previous experience hiking or having some resistance.

This route is designed to be carried out in approximately 4 hours, but in winter due to the difficulties we may have with the snow or cold, it might be extended. To carry out the reservation of this activity, a minimum of 2 people is required.
