Lago Verde + Hervideros hiking route (3 h)

Discover the natural treasures that Lanzarote offers you with the varied route that we have prepared. On this 3-hour route, we will visit the famous Lago Verde and the Hervideros.

We will start the activity with an ascent to glimpse, apart from its great natural structure, the views from above. The green color of the lake is due to a strange type of algae that grows in its waters and a large amount of sulfur.

You will learn the details of the lake and the volcanic formations that have created places as unique as the so-called Hervideros, which protrude from the sea and we see how the water seems to boil when colliding with lava walls.

You will be accompanied at all times by one of our professional guides, who knows the routes like the back of his hand. In addition, he will tell you history about the island and about the volcanic formations that you will visit. We will do two different stages during the route: first, we will pass through the Biosphere Reserve and, later, through the UNESCO Geopark.

You will learn about the natural wealth of Lanzarote, its endemic species of flora and also fauna, but we will also tell you about some curiosities that will make your this excursion is a round experience.
