Hiking route to Montaña Roja (2 hours)

Lanzarote not only has paradisiacal beaches, it also has some volcanic areas that must be discovered! On this hiking route you will walk from Playa Blanca to Montaña Roja using the shortest path, but it is totally worth it.

You will see up close a whole geological museum in the middle of nature, which every year attracts thousands of tourists. The duration of the walk will be about 2 hours, depending on the progress of the group.

The volcanoes erupted in the 18th century, between 1730 and 1736, with almost uninterrupted volcanic activity, so the southern part of the island was completely devastated. However, today nature has managed to recover and has given rise to a unique volcanic landscape in the world.
