Hiking route in the Old River Valley 5 h

To contemplate a hundred percent natural landscape, we invite you to sign up for our hiking route that will take you on the Río Viejo valley. It will be an experience you will never forget.

It is a long route, but not a difficult one. Although it does have sections that have a certain complexity, they are completely surmountable. So do not hesitate and come to practise it. In it we will enter paths that will take us to the valley that surrounds Río Viejo.

This valley is somewhat narrow, but in it we will enjoy beautiful views and spots that decorate its geographical relief. This way we will reach the Mora cave and our guide will tell you the mystical legends that surround this place.

We will also go through the Torca depression to finally reach the Corral de Máximo. The latter is an old building (currently almost in ruins) on which almond trees grow.

The route is somewhat long, with 12 kilometres of extension that will take us an approximate time of between 5 and 6 hours to complete. So you will have to come with comfortable shoes, food and water.

After the route we will visit the nature interpretation center 'Más Que Monte', a landmark of the Pirón Valley locatedin Peñarrubias de Pirón.
