Christmas camp with horses in Orense

If you want your children to enjoy the best Christmas holidays of their lives just bring them to our multi-adventure camp. Our objective is for them to learn the importance of respecting the environment and animals by being in full contact with nature at its purest state. We'll practice different activities taking care of our precious natural resources.

Our facilities are located at Zaramacedo village, just 7 kilometres away from Santiago city. In here kids will be able to spend the 4 nights in our comfy shelter. We've bedrooms with bunk beds, where they'll be divided due to their gender, and fully equipped en-suite bathrooms.

The little ones will feel as nice as at home because we'll take good care of them, don't worry! We also include five daily meals homemade and very healthy. Our professional instructors will be available 24 hours a day keeping an eye on them making sure they're safe and having a good time.

This camp takes place during the second half of December, but you can check out our calendar for further information. We have room up to 20 kids and we accept kids aged from 7 to 11 years and from 12 to 16 years old. They'll be divided depending on their age, so every group can make the most of this camp and enjoy the activities specially designed for them.

Participants will wake up at 8 am although activities don't start until 9.30 am. They'll take a break during midday so they can recharge their batteries with a snack and then continue the fun until lunchtime at 2 pm, after which they'll be able to rest during 1 hour. At 3.30 pm activities will resume until 8 pm, having relaxed during half hour at 6.30 in order to have a delicious snack. At the end of the day, we'll have dinner and enjoy the typical nighttime camp activities: tale-telling, sing songs... and much more! However, at 11.30 everybody will be asleep happily.

We've a great variety of animals in our facilities so kids can get to know them better. We'll organize horse-riding routes and teach children how to ride them. Farm animals will love to be fed and play little games.

We also prepare activities with exotic animals and our loving dogs. To connect with nature we'll teach them how to take care of vegetables and the importance of the natural environment and the influence of astronomy. In addition, instructors will arrange fun outdoor games, trips around the surroundings, handicraft workshops and live music.

Children need to bring:

• Toilet bag with every element named
• Torch
• Compass and binoculars (not obligatory)
• Pyjamas
• Sleeping bag with pillow
• Comfortable and enough clothes for the 5 days
• Warm clothes and raincoat
• Sport footwear
• Waterproof boots for mountain areas
• Waterbottle
• Working gloves for taking care of animals and the garden
• Small rucksack to bring food to the trips

*We don't take the responsibility for any loss of personal objects as every kid needs to be responsible for their things. They also have to pick their possessions on the last day.
**We don't allow to bring any mobile phone nor any electronic devices. We'll set a specific time for kids to call their families.
