Internal Equestrian Camp in Medina de Pomar

Being part of a camp in which the main objectives are to have a good time and learn everything about the world of horses is a privilege that is now within your reach. During the month of July and August, specifically from July 2 to August 26, you can come to Medina de Pomar (Burgos) to enjoy this piece of camping. Choose the date that best suits you!

A camp dedicated to children and adolescents between 6 and 17 years old, where they will live and share unique moments, and will be introduced to the equine world, from the breeding and training of these animals to their riding.

Our campers will stay under the full board regime and will sleep in shared rooms, with bunk beds. In addition, we have sports courts, a swimming pool where we will carry out different activities and games, and a service building. We will carry out the equestrian activities in our equestrian center in Medina, where we have complete facilities to correctly develop learning and the techniques of dressage, horse care.

In this camp, each child will be assigned a horse which they will have to take care of during the week, becoming a real stable boy, being in charge of feeding it, brushing it, taking care of its equipment, showering it, etc. Always supervised by our instructors.

There are theoretical and practical classes for riding, jumping and training horses, from colts to older horses. The activities will begin at 9:30, where after breakfast, the horses will have to be fed, until night, where after a whole day of activities, the horses will have to be put back to bed after their shower and night feeding necessary.

Of course, children will have enough time for themselves and for activities not related to the equine world such as watching movies, playing games, swimming in the pool and many other activities. At 12 everyone must go to sleep to face the next day.

*You have the option to choose to come to camp for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks. The day of entry into the camp will be Sunday, while departure will be on Saturday. The dates on which the camps begin are:

• If you want to choose a week, you must choose the start dates of June 30, July 7, 14, 21 and 28 or July 4August.
• If you want to choose two weeks, you must choose the start dates of June 30, July 7, 14, 21 or 28.
• If you come three weeks, you can choose either June 30, July 7, 14 or 21.
• If you want to come for the whole month, you have to choose the date of June 30, June 7 or June 14.July.
