Our summer camp offers a double function: your kids will learn to ride a horse, and they can also improve their level of English language.
The shifts we offer are:
We are in an unrivalled environment. The hostel in which we lodge is located in the enclosure of the horse riding arena.
We can give horse riding lesson in 5 different levels, where the most basic until those with a very good skill. For that reason, it doesn't matter the experience or the absence of it.
Apart from riding, we will teach you which are the tasks that a rider shoud carry out, clean the horse stables, how has developed the relationship of the horse from the old times, the most important competitions, ...
We will practise funny games on horseback, like the tisuse, the horse ball... There should also be activities with no horse.
We'll perform trips. We can visit the Cathedral of San Antolín, we'll take later a lunch in the gardens of Sotillo.
One of the days, we'll make a contest of jumping the obstacles on horseback.
Furthermore, during the activities, we will take benefit to practise English, doing it in a very funny way.

Description of Horse Riding Camp with English in Palencia 10 days
The perfect summer camp for your children is here, where horse riding and English are combined!It's organised in the summer months, Jue, July and August. They will learn the basics and new riding skills, as well as improve their English. But not only that, they will spend the time having loads of fun doing a range of workshops and activities in a special environment in Palencia.
The camp is designed for children of around 8 years of age. The accommodation will be in our inn and the riding lessons and the other activities in our riding centre.
The riding lessons are sorted in 5 different levels, from beginners to advanced learners. So there is no need of previous experience, all the basics will be taught and for the advanced learners, we'll teach them new skills and techniques so that they improve. These are some of the activities:
- Rider tasks
- Stable person tasks
- History of horses
- Horse riding competitions
- Theory-practical horse riding lessons
In addition, there will be excursions in Palencia. We'll visit the Catholic temple Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica de San Antolín, and later, we'll take a picnic in the gardens of Sotillo.
The evenings will be very special because the theme parties prepared are exciting. To get a taste of what it would be like, there will be horror stories around a bonfire and scary walks through the gloomy forest.
There are 2 shifts to choose from, one in July and another in August. Please, check the dates that best fit you before booking.
