Those of you who really enjoy nature and animals, we have a perfect horseback riding route through the Singular Mountain System of the Sierra de la Demanda, a tour through prehistory (Atapuerca). The itinerary is:
1st Day - Arrival in Quintanar de la Sierra
2nd Day - Quintanar de la Sierra - Neila (Lagunas de Neila)
3rd Day - Neila - Monterrubio de la Demanda (Vía Verde Mining Railway)
4th Day - Monterrubio de la Demanda - Pineda de la Sierra
5th Day - Pineda de la Sierra Arlanzón (Atapuerca prehistoric sites)
6th Day - Arlanzón - Burgos (Monastery of San Pedro de Cardeña)
7th Day - Monastery of San Pedro de Cardeña - Covarrubias
Experience is required to do these routes. Remember that it will be 6 days riding a horse and that requires being used to riding.
