It was a wonderful experience, the horses are super docile and the route is incredible.
The instructors are lovely, they treated us great and they stayed with our daughters because once they were mounted, they were scared.
We will return for sure. Thanks for the experience.Review useful for 0 people Did you find this helpful? Yes

In short, the experience has been phenomenal: I asked for a reservation for 3 people from one day to the next and there was no problem about it. The ride was beautiful: we chose the option of 1 hour and climbed a small path to the top of a hill from which we could see, on the one hand, Picos de Europa and, on the other, the coast and some villages in the area . The animals (Mirlo, Ghandi and Pascualín, in our case) were beautiful, affectionate, obedient and very tame. There was no problem with them beyond having to separate to leave. Sincerely, we knew a little, next time (of course, we will repeat) we will choose a longer route. For this reason and for the price I would recommend the longer routes, although the route we traveled was very pleasant and for those who do not have much experience walking on horseback it may be the best option (enough for you to end up sleeping your ass and knees , Hahaha). Finally, I would like it to be possible to spend more time with the animals before and after the ride. Although they are very friendly animals, being able to spend time preparing them would help to strengthen the ties and enjoy the ride even more with our new four-legged friend. For the rest, what was said, everything perfect. 100% recommendedReview useful for 17 people Did you find this helpful? Yes

Very nice experience, the guy who made the route very nice to us the truth. It served me well as an initiation, since it was the first time I rode a horse.
The only downside was that my horse was hungry and occasionally stopped to eat.Review useful for 15 people Did you find this helpful? Yes

The route passes through a very beautiful area with the Picos de Europa in the background. Technically the route was simple, although the guide put a little haste in the time to realize it, even arriving to ride with the horse. Considering that we were almost absolute beginners, sometimes this caused us a bit of stress. Perhaps this route could be adapted to a lower level, for when the participants have never ridden on horseback. However, the overall experience was very quite good.Review useful for 0 people Did you find this helpful? Yes

The treatment, the staff and the horses were great. We had some bad luck with the weather, and the fog did not leave us; Enjoy the view but equally was great fun.
No matter That we did not have experience riding, so they make it easy, simple and for the whole family.Review useful for 10 people Did you find this helpful? Yes

Description of Horseback riding in Oyambre Park in Santillán 2h
The coast of Cantabria deserves to be explored calmly and enjoying the sea breeze and the northern landscape. And doing it on horseback is one of the best options, like choosing this 2-hour route in San Vicente de la Barquera, specifically in the Oyambre natural park.
In the western area of Cantabria, this route is carried out among the vegetation and rocks that rise at the end of the Cantabrian Sea with views of the estuary of the San Vicente estuary and with many animals along the way: cormorants, seagulls, curlews and ducks, among other birds.
The trails are quiet, far from noise and stress, and being on the horse will help you get away from that routine that we need to get rid of from time to time, with the views of the sea and the Sierra de Boria, a paradise made to enjoy nature.
Always attentive to the needs of new riders, anyone can sign up for this horseback riding in the town of Santillán. With and without riding experience, we will explain how to ride a horse before leaving the equestrian center to the adventure in Oyambre.
*We recommend coming with long pants and boots or, at least, closed-toe shoes. What does the activity include- Guide
