Camino de Santiago on horseback End of the World 4 days

Where the world ended, we will ride on a journey through the senses. Do you join this different and truly rewarding equestrian experience?

From Santiago to Finisterre, we will follow the path of the ancients, known as the Costa da Morte, without a doubt, one of the most tremendously beautiful routes, passing through the Galician nature and the waters of the Atlantic. Part pagan, part religious, this route would have to be practically mandatory to enjoy one of the parts that transcends the path.

The first day we will meet in Santiago de Compostela, where in our hotel we will meet and explain to you perfectly the planning that we are going to do. From here we will get on the back of our horse and leaving Santiago in the background, we say goodbye to head to Ames, where we will make a small stop that will give us momentum to overcome the forts. unevenness that will take us to Trasmonte.

In Trasmonte we will now begin a boring descent that will lead us to Ponte Maceira, bathed by the Tambre River. The numerous and well-preserved Romanesque remains are notable in the area. We will stay in Negreira, where we will have dinner and rest.

From Negreira we will jump to the coast area. A luxury for the senses of sight and smell; see the image of an ocean with that smell of saltpeter... Meanwhile, in the compos, we will see another of the appreciated distinctive signs of Galicia, its cattle pastures resting and ruminating on green meadows. Among small and dispersed population groups, we will pass through Mazaricos, between granaries or reservoirs. We will have the end of the day in Olveiroa.

The third day is one of the most entertaining days horsely speaking, since we will be faced with the situation of going up and down continuously. With the ocean as a witness, its waves and its echoes will make special music with the clash of the horses' hooves against the ground. We will arrive at Muxía, a seaside town with a fishing tradition, with its Virgen de la Barca almost overlooking a cliff, between dunes and beaches. In this town, we will spend the night.

Last stage, from Muxía to Finisterre. Once we leave Muxía, there, at the top of the mountain, the steep Costa da Morte will be waiting for us. What this day will allow us is to ride between dunes and beaches. We will end our journey arriving atlighthouse, where in ancient times pilgrims took off their clothes to purify their souls and remove their fears with the flames of the fire.
