Description of Horseback riding route in Atalaia, 1 hour
From the town of Cotobade, just 12 kilometers from Pontevedra, we propose a 1-hour horseback riding route, in which you will enjoy the nature of the place and the contact with the horse.
First, we will familiarize ourselves with the equipment and the horses, taking a short walk inside the center so that horse and rider can get to know each other a little better.
When we have achieved this confidence we will leave the park to enter the forest in the area. We will travel along paths that enter a pine forest, following paths that originally connected the different villages in the area before the arrival of asphalt.
Our horses are used to people, so you won't be able to find more docile animals. In addition, throughout the activity you will be accompanied by an expert monitor who will help you with everything necessary and guide you around the park.

We were 3 people and we did the route on horseback for an hour at approximately 20 euros per person. It was our first time and the monitors were very nice and professional.
They gave us a quick introduction to horse handling and let us choose it. The route was varied with ups, downs and small obstacles.
