Portuguese Camino de Santiago on horseback, 8 days

Do you want to be a pilgrim on the back of a horse? Head to Compostela on one of our brand new horses, remembering the first pilgrims and following the footprints they left along the way. Ready to enjoy about 8 days among nature?

If we comply with everything planned, on day 1 we will meet at the Vigo airport from where we will travel to Ponte de Lima, by car. There we will hold a meeting with all the riders of this experience and we will stay in a Portuguese country house and where we will prepare to begin the route the next day.

The second day awaits us the 30 kilometers that separate Ponte de Lima to Valença where we will visualize the fortress, we will travel along a Roman road from the 19th century, and We will enjoy the landscapes full of nature.

On the third day, we will follow the route, but this time we will do it in parallel since the path is somewhat complex to do on horseback, so we will dance on parallel trails that are part of theMonte Aloia Galiñeiro and Gallei Natural Parkro. Thus we will arrive at Porriño where we will have dinner and rest, but not before commenting on the views we have had of the estuaries through which the route runs.

The next day we will have the Porriño - Soutomaior stage, wooded areas and medieval fortresses await us. The fifth day will be the shortest, we will travel on horseback the kilometers from Soutomaior and Pontevedra, we will dedicate part of the day to getting to know the city and areas of interest.

During our sixth day, we will wake up to go through the marshes of Alba, the Barosa River and the Valga River until we reach Padrón. Finally, on the last day, we will leave Padrón to follow the Ruta Rosaliana for 25 kilometers.

On the last day we will arrive at the long-awaited destination: La Plaza del Obradorio, where we will visit the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and end this enriching equestrian experience.
