If you are passionate about horseback riding, come and take this 6-hour horseback route in which you will travel through the most impressive natural spaces of the border of Portugal with Spain.
The day you book this horseback ride we will meet at our equestrian center , this is located in the municipality of Marvão. One of our qualified instructors will be waiting for you here, great riders whose passion is to teach all their knowledge to others.
This will give a briefing to explain the timing and the basic notions of horse riding that you have to know to get on the back of these beautiful animals, once we have passed this training we will equip ourselves with the necessary material and we will choose the horse that best suits us, they are all very calm and are used to dealing closely with humans.
This horseback route will begin heading for the country's border, passing through Gallegos, we will cross the mountains to reach San Pedro de los Majarretes here We will visit the convent and testament of Piedra, monuments of obligatory visit and famous throughout the country. To finish, we will visit La Miera where we will find 2 dolmens over 7000 years old.
In the middle of this route we will have a country picnic in which we will enjoy typical delicacies of the area.
