Horse riding and wine tasting in Praia da Vigia

Taking a horse ride along the beach is one of the best activities to do on the Alentejo Coast , but if we add a wine tasting becomes an unbeatable experience. Come with us to enjoy a route on horseback through Praia da Vigia and end the tour with a wine tasting of the region.

We are in Monte da Marra , in our equestrian center surrounded by nature and cork oak sanctuaries. Our horses are tamed so that the rides are calm and relaxed so you can enjoy the wonders that this Melides area offers.

Specifically, you will take a 1 hour and 45 minute walk through Praia da Vigia , a 5 km long beach located in the Laguna de Melides . You will be able to observe from the incredible golden sand the views of Serra de Grândola and admire the Atlantic from one of our precious horses.

At the end of the horse ride , we will return to our equestrian center where you will have the opportunity to do a tasting of 3 wines produced in Heredade do Cebolal :

• Heredade do Cebolal blanco : made from dry land vineyards over 25 years old. It is produced with Fernão Pires, Roupeiro and Arinto. A wine with delicate and citrus aromas; very typical of the area of the Atlantic coast.

• Finca Rosada Cebolal : a salmon-colored wine, with aromas of strawberry and roses; sweet, with a sensation of dryness and a balanced freshness. Made with Touriga Nacional and Aragonês.

• Heredade do Cebolal rojo : produced with Castelão, Aragonês and Alicante Bouchet. It is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months and is characterized by its liveliness, its personality and its elegance.
