3-hour kayak initiation route in Almería

When you try kayaking you will wonder why you haven't done it before! You will have the opportunity to get started in Almería, in the incredible maritime landscape of Cabo de Gata, one of the most beautiful natural spaces in Spain with a great wealth of terrestrial and aquatic landscapes.

This adventure sport will give you numerous benefits, such as strengthening your arms and back, as well as enjoying the views and staying active. We have single and two-seater kayaks, if you have children it is recommended that they be accompanied by an adult. But if you want to test your communication and coordination skills, you can also choose the two-seater.

The route will last approximately 3 hours, depending on the pace of the group, and you will be accompanied by a professional guide who will supervise you throughout the journey. Before leaving, we will teach you some techniques and tricks to navigate aboard this boat, but it is a very simple practice that you will master in a very short time.

We will provide each of you with a life jacket for safety reasons, and a motor boat will also accompany us in case any mishap occurs. Departures take place at 10:00 or 16:00 and always depending on weather conditions.

There are different itineraries to choose from:

• Las Negras: we will set sail from Cala del Cuervo until we reach Punta de la Polacra
• Cabo de Gata Lighthouse: we will leave from the factory until we reach the Mermaid Reef.
• Los Escuellos: departures from Cala del Embarcadero to Loma Pelada
• Agua Amarga: departures from Agua Amarga to Cala del Plomo or to Punta de la Media Naranja
• San José I: the starting point will be San José until reaching Cala del Tomate
• San José II: we will leave from Mónsul to reach Morrón de los Genoveses
