5-hour kayak tour on the Tormes river

Come and enjoy the views of Salamanca on this kayak route along the Tormes River! It will be a sensational excursion, where you can relax, get excited, disconnect and enjoy the incredible natural landscapes that appear thanks to the river waters.

The route will be 22 kilometres, with a duration of 5 hours so the difficulty is medium-high. It is aimed at all those who know some basic kayak techniques and want to improve their paddling skills in an environment worth visiting. You must be in good physical shape to endure so many hours, however, you will be accompanied by a specialized instructor who will take care of the safety of the group.

We have kayaks of all kinds, with one or more seats and they are self-emptying so you will not worry about the water that usually enters these boats. In addition, you will have a life jacket and if the weather requires it, a raincoat, neoprene and booties.

The route will be from La Maya to Alba de Tormes, two towns in Salamanca that are characterized by abundant vegetation and a large number of birds that you can see from the water. The meeting point and end of the activity will be the Béjar Tourism Center, southeast of Salamanca and very close to Cáceres.
