Guided kayak route on the Alagón River in Coria

Fancy a nice walk along the river? We invite you to this kayak route along the Alagón River, and you will enjoy an amazing natural environment located in the province of Cáceres. Specifically, we will make the route of the river as it passes through Coria, and we will leave from the Puente de la Macarrona to go to the great Puente de Hierro de Coria.

You can come from April to August, for a journey of approximately 2-2 and a half hours. You will be accompanied by a specialized monitor who will take care of taking the group along the itinerary that we have prepared in complete safety, and will explain all the details about the environment that surrounds you. You will learn the interesting facts about the abundant fauna and flora that inhabits the place, and at the same time you will exercise your arms while rowing and you will relax in nature.

The route will be 19 kilometres, with calm sections and others with rapids, so the level of difficulty is medium-low. We have kayaks with one, two or three self-emptying seats, and we will provide each of you with a life jacket and, if necessary, neoprene and booties. In addition, we have a boat in which you can store all your belongings so they do not get wet.

Likewise, we will take a small snack to make a stop and regain strength to continue with the excursion with much more enthusiasm. You must bring: thermal clothing, sunscreen, water bottle, swimsuit and towel, and it will be an essential requirement that you know how to swim.

Once we arrive at the Iron Bridge, a vehicle will take you back to the Macarrona Bridge so that you can start your way back there on your own.
