If you are going to be in Tarifa or near this area, you have a unique opportunity to come and discover the Parque Natural del Estrecho aboard a kayak.
We will provide you with the boat and the necessary material and we will give you a brief explanation so that you can navigate on your own through the Getares Bay and discover the secrets of this coast, such as old bunkers, a disused whaling ship, as well as the incredible cliffs and the marine life in the area.
It is common to see waterfowl such as waders, terns or seagulls. In addition, many species pass through this area in their migratory processes between Europe and Africa.
We will sail with the kayaks along beaches of fine sand such as Getares beach, a historical place also for housing the Roman city of Caeteria in the 1st century.
To be able to ride the kayaks you must be at least 7 years old, know how to swim and weigh less than 90 kilos.
- Unsinkable sea kayak, single or double (subject to availability).
- Life jacket.
- Oars.
- Introductory talk for you to navigate on your own.
The rental of the material has a duration of 1 hour.
You can enjoy this activity from Monday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays it will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
