When summer comes and you are still in Madrid you think about how lucky the citizens who live near the coast are. But, the reality is that the capital of Spain has beautiful mountains around it where you can spend a good summer. We know it and that is why this summer we have organized a camp from June 30 to July 11 for children in the Sierra de Guadarrama.

For children between the ages of 7 and 17, this camp is entirely dedicated to fostering good relationships between young people, creating bonds and respect. To do this, the monitors will divide the groups into age ranges in order to focus each activity on the profile of the participants.

They will learn to live in a group while practicing activities, such as orienteering races, flag games, camouflage, etc. Also, we will organize excursions, among which the visit to the natural pools of La Panera, in El Espinar, stands out. For the older ones we will take a cultural outing to Segovia or Ávila.

Since time is money, we will not waste a second standing still. The children will perform track, cultural and Olympic gymkhanas. Likewise, juggling workshops, t-shirt painting workshops, etc. And if they are shy, we will help them lose their shame with theatrical games and dances.

So that you can get to know the mountain range well, we will go out along the Peña Arcipreste de Hita route. On this hiking excursion, adapted to the age of the participants, the instructors will teach them orientation and bivouac techniques.
Lastly, and before going to bed. We will organize evening parties in which we will sing songs and sit around a bonfire.

During the 12 days in which the camp will take place, campers will have full board (4 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner). Where will they sleep? At the La Tablada hostel, in shared rooms of 2 or 4 people.
