The best way to learn any sport, whatever it is, is through a collective class or, if a longer than normal lesson is not necessary, through of a route in which the teacher can see your evolution and your failures live. All this does not mean that before embarking on the adventure, there should not be a small support briefing that will serve as a prelude to everything that lies ahead. We are referring to a concrete activity of paddle surfing that will be carried out entirely in the Río Paiva along a route that takes place over three hours strong> duration.

Indeed, before jumping into the water and getting going, we will carry out warm-up exercises and we will rehearse positions on the board with a qualified instructor, who will also accompany you throughout the journey. We will provide you with a life jacket, a paddle surf board and your respective oar.

For those who do not know it, reveal that the Paiva River is one of the natural jewels of Portugal and is currently within the protected reserve of the Arouca Geopark. The fluvial course of this river is extremely placid, and yet all the vegetation and rocks that surround it seem to suggest the opposite.

On the day of the activity, we recommend wearing a swimsuit and protective sun cream, so we will be more comfortable if it fits on top of the board. If your purpose is to merge with nature, you are in the right place.
