Paddle Surf Route to the Aieri marsh 2h and 30m

Whether or not you practice paddle surfing, we have a route along the Basque coast that if you like the sea you will not be able to refuse. Next to a qualified monitor, we take you on a paddle surfing tour to the marshes of Aieri; a wetland full of life and where you can contemplate, at rowing pace, the beauty of the vegetation that grows around it.

As you will not need experience in this discipline, before we leave, an  instructor will explain the basic parts of the SUP (Stand Up Paddle Surf). In a few minutes you will have made yourself familiar with the balance and the technique to row effectively. Thus, once the tour begins on the Arrigorri beach, you will only worry about not losing detail of the landscape of Ondarroa.

The guide will take you across the waters that cross this beautiful fishing village. A town bathed by the waters of the Cantabrian sea, where you will enjoy the perspective that will give you the distance from the sea. After a few minutes, we will pass this stretch to reach the marshes.

You will move through this wetland in which the salt marshes of the Cantabrian sea and the fresh water of the Artibai river merge. A unique place where a rich ecosystem develops.
