Rafting descent through the Miño to Arbo 10 km

If you have ended up here, it is because without a doubt the idea of practicing rafting at full speed through the Miño catches your attention. You are a little closer to enjoying this exciting water sport on the northern border of Portugal with Galicia .

The day will begin in a small cafeteria in Melgaço , from where we will each leave their vehicle to the Centro de Estágios de Melgaço , where the activity will begin. Right there, we will leave you the necessary equipment and our rafting monitor will give you a brief introductory talk before getting on the raft.

This route is about 10 km long and can be done throughout the year, although the river flow is not so abundant. The tour will begin at the sports center and we will rafting through the Miño until it ends in Barcela , in the Concello de Arbo .

Once there in Pontevedra , the activity will have concluded, we will give you a certificate and we will move together back to Melgaço, where we will eat some donuts and celebrate the day by toasting with Albariño.

In order to rafting with us, you only need to know how to swim . The force of the water could overturn the raft, so we recommend that you bring dry clothes for after the activity.

Minors may participate, as long as they are over 10 years old or over 1.40 in height . However, for their own safety children can only go rafting during the summer months .
