Rafting down the Miño in the Freiria Reservoir 12 km

Do you want to experience the thrill of going down the Miño at full speed? We propose you to spend an unforgettable day that will consist of descending the last stretch of the river, at full speed and aboard a rafting raft and for 12 adrenaline km. Sounds or doesn't it sound great?

We will meet at the entrance to the region of Melgaço, a beautiful town located in the north of Portugal and very close to the Galician province of Ourense. The exact meeting point will be sent to you up to one hour before the activity begins. We will go together, each one in their own vehicle, to the Freiria reservoir, where the activity will begin, and right there, we will leave you all the necessary equipment to practice rafting strong>.

This tour can only be done when the river has abundant water. It will consist of 12 kilometers until it reaches the Concello de Arbo, in the province of Pontevedra. Once there, having finished the rafting, we'll collect the material and we'll take you back to the reservoir.

To participate in the activity you do not need to have done rafting before. Our instructor will explain everything you need to know before starting the descent down the Miño. The only requirement will be that you know how to swim, because even if you have a life jacket, it is likely that changes in the river currents could cause you to take a dip, so don't forget to bring a clean change of clothes to change into at the end of the activity.

In case you plan to come with the smallest of the house, it is important that they are over 10 years old or exceed 1.40m in height. In addition, children will only be able to go downhill during the summer for a mere safety issue, from June to the end of September.
