Yacht skipper qualification Puerto Garrucha 2 days

If skippering boats is a weakness you want to indulge yourself in, our 2-day course to obtain the  yacht skipper license that takes place at the Marina Garrucha yacht harbour, will allow you to be in control of the helm of boats of up to 24 meters in length, as well as ride on any type of jet ski. Throughout the course, an experienced teacher will help you become a future boat skipper.

Before coming to Almería to pass our training, you will have to take an  online course that culminates with a test to make sure that you have assimilated the basic knowledge about the nautical world.

In addition to being of age to qualify for this instruction, you must be in possession of the PER (Recreational Boat Skippering License) and have a document that proves your psychological and physical fitness to sail these types of vehicles.

Having overcome this content, we will finally get down to business. First, you will receive face-to-face classes in our facilities about the nautical charts, which are the basic manual for anyone who goes sailing.

Later, we will go to the sea. For the sailing practices, which will take us 48 hours, we will try a sailboat and a catamaran. These two different boats that await you docked at the yacht harbour of Garrucha, so that you can sail any type of boat.

During the practical lessons you will learn a series of fundamental aspects that are essential to the world of sailing:

• Safety regulations on board.
• Establishment of course, that is, of the route the ship will follow.
• Revision checks before starting the nautical trip.
