This sports activity offer your children the opportunity to enjoy their leisure time in contact with the nature and sharing great moments with children their own age. Thi is the best ski course in all the north region. We are located in the ski resort of Astún, in Huesca.
Ski will be the main sport practised, but other disciplines of snow sports will also be involved. The course is aimed to have an amazing time in the snow, respecting the environment and the other kids. Personal values are encouraged and they will come back home more mature and environmentally aware.
They will spend 4 hours a day in the snow learning all types of skiing skills, guided, at all times, by our qualified instructors. The equipment required is provided for all the activities, and the groups will be divided by level and age, to make the groups as even as possible.
During the 10 days, the following activities will be taken:
Ski will be the main sport practised, but other disciplines of snow sports will also be involved. They will spend 4 hours a day in the snow learning all types of skiing skills, guided, at all times, by our qualified instructors. The equipment required is provided for all the activities, and the groups will be divided by level and age, to make the groups as even as possible.
During the 10 days, the following activities will be taken:
- Two days of snowshoeing: A discipline used to easily and fastly slide in snow and ice.
- One day of cross-country skiing
- One day learning to recognize the different types of snow and using an avalanche victim detector, to teach them how to manage under any circumstances in the snow

Are you looking for a course for your kids to learn skiing during the winter session? If that's your case, we have organized the best offer for you: a twenty-day skiing course for kids between 7 and 12. Of course, they will count on our well-experienced instructors during all the course in both mountain and snow activities. Our facilities are located in Astún Ski Station, one of the best ski stations in the northern area of Spain.They will have the unique opportunity to learn everything connected with skiing techniques, in addition to diverse winter sports. They will count on a whole day to practice an off-piste skiing activity. They will also enjoy snowshoes routes during two days. Have you ever heard about snowshoes? These are special items worn on your feet to move on easily through the snow. Moreover, they will learn how to use a DVA device (avalanche victims detector, following the Spanish name), so they will be able to face any difficult eventuality on the snow.
They will be provided with all the essential equipment for each snow activity. They need to bring warm and comfortable clothes. After this course, they will be able to manage easily through our different skiing slopes in our facilities.
*We won't organize training sessions with sticks or participate in competitions.

Description of Learn ski Astún 30 lessons Children 7 to 12 years
This offer is the perfect opportunity for kids so that they can have fun during their holidays and practice sport in their free time. We can meet at the ski station of Astún, that is located in Huesca. There, some of our professional coaches will be waiting for every kid to teach them everything about the ski world.This offer is exclusive for kids who are between seven and twelve years old, and groups will be divided by the level that their participants have, so no one will have to adjust to the level of other people. The agreement by parents is required so that we can combine different ages in the same group.
The participants will be provided with all the material necessary to do the activity correctly, so they'll only have to come with comfy clothes. The course consists of some theory and practise lessons, and it will be done for 30 days with 4 daily hours, always including a 30 minutes break. Kids can choose the days when they want to do the practise lessons, but especially during the holiday (Bank holiday of "Puente de la Constitución", Christmas, Easter...) and weekends.
Also, kids will get to learn how to do ski with DVA (Avalanche Victims Detector), and during the other two days, they can do outings with snowshoes. Also, kids can get to know about cross-country skiing on a different practice during the winter season.
By the end of the course, kids will be able to move perfectly by any kind of track, including red and black ones! Also, they'll get to have more respect for the environment, and will respect their flatmates as they learn new values, such as team working and cooperation.
