The Sierra de Gredos is dressed in white for you so that you can discover one of its most recognized peaks, that of Morezón, through a snowshoe excursion where one of our guides will show you the most beautiful face of what is known as the Gredos Cirque.
We will stay in the Avilés municipality of Casavieja from where we will go to the Gredos platform to start our snowshoe route. For approximately 4 hours we will ascend towards one of the highest peaks that the Sierra de Gredos offers: El Morezón.
With a drop of 700 meters we will enter with the snowshoes through the Sierra de Gredos heading to some of the treasures that are found in these places such as La Laguna Grande, a complete show that makes it the best valued glacier in the entire Iberian Peninsula, or the Fuente de los Cavadores. Although without a doubt, we will take the big price when we reach the Pico de Morezón.
Along with ourmountain guides, the secrets that this snowshoe route hides will not go unnoticed along the 12 Km that we will cover through the Sierra de Gredos. Do not forget to smile because our team will be with camera in hand ready to steal a pose.
The descent will possibly be done along the old 'Camino del Rey', a section that is not excessively complicated but with all the emotion that a self-respecting snowshoe excursion requires.

Discover the most impressive and funny face of Gredos! Take advantage of the immense white blanket that winter gives us to put on our snowshoes and progress down the mountainside.We're going to be in Hoyos del Espino. Here we pick you up and take you to the Platform, where we start our snowshoe excursion.
During 5-6 hours we will walk with the rackets through Gredos, while we will see the most important peaks, its hills, and lagoons. A spectacular high mountain landscape that awaits us very close to Avila.
The guide who accompanies you during the whole excursion also has another assignment: he will take pictures of you during the whole session, to give you a complete report. That way you will not have to be taking out your smartphone continuously!
